This is just those guys' boss theme and nobody can tell me otherwise. This totally feels like it. I do feel it gets a bit repetitive but given it's sort of a series or videogame villain-y track I totally see why

nailed this one. This totally feels like a progression from sadness of losing someone to accepting it and limiting yourself to remember the good times you lived with that person instead of being sad it's over. the composition is phenomenal and I wish you good luck on this!

wow!! Thank you so much. I really appreciate that!!

wow. what a mess, I love it. It's a mess in a very VERY good way. I love the chaoticness in the track overall, and the timestamps you added, it makes it feel confusing yet coreographed. I feel like this is one of the strongest song-art connections. I feel like if the character in the drawing starred in a series, this would be the theme song no doubt. Well done.

Thanks champ!

Really good track. I do feel however like it's way too calm for how the artwork made me feel. It feels like it should be a bit more energetic (not like a dance track obviously), but the artwork feels just crazier and more confusing (in a good way) than the track made me feel. It's still really well done and intriguing indeed. Good luck!

TenodiBoris responds:

Thank you for the commnet

I gotta say, this feels a bit too repetitive. HOWEVER, I understand the meaning behind that and the way you turned repetition into a plotline. I still feel like it kind of brings down the song a bit, but it's definitely well done. It feels calming, yet at the same time uncertain, keeping you on edge on how to feel.

Overall really good job.

Absolute bop, great work :)

this matches really well with the artwork, and I like how it transitions from that calm but uneasy feeling the strings give you to a more epic "ok get it together we'll escape safely" mixed with percussion that might as well hint at you running away from something, at least that's how I feel about it. The attention to details in the original artwork is pretty well portrayed which I like. Good job and good luck

this is a great track, but it does get a bit repetitive, the change at 1:26 is greatly appreciated but a bit sudden, also at 00:56 there's something there that throws me off a bit but can't put my finger on what exactly. the instruments and vibe fit the song pretty well and the violins add that epic charm. Again at ~2:25 the change is a bit too sudden and it felt a bit messy to me, there's too much happening all at once. The end of the song is what throws me off a bit too much, feels a bit too crowded. Overall good job, but just those things to keep in mind

This just feels like a final boss, so energetic and strong. I personally think the original artwork portrayed a "calmer" feel but it still fits surprisingly well as a menacing giant mecha boss theme. I also really like the acid synth you used, it fits very well. it's slightly above the time limit but it's probably fine. for the track being above 6 minutes it doesn't feel repetitive at all, which I think is really important in this case. It keeps you on the edge, like if you were playing that space shooter yourself, not knowing what the next attack is gonna be. it all sounds so similar yet it has a different feel in different parts of the song. Well done.

It's sad that we had to disqualify you, however I'm still gonna leave a review. The song is really well done, and I feel like it takes the image in a very literal way, making the song feel like an adventure videogame, it reminds me a bit of the OST for MediEvil, which is one of my favorite games of all time. I do feel like the choir at the end by itself is a bit repetitive and doesn't fit AS well as the rest of the track, but the fusion of choir + instruments felt really good. If this track was loopable it could perfectly be a videogame OST, no doubt. Really well done, and congrats on the frontpage, it is indeed deserved.

ZaazNG responds:

Thank you for your kind words, greatly appreciated, I had Holst's Planets Suite in mind when composing this, it's really fun to see what it reminds different people of :)

not really sure what to type here but uh...
I make music! I've been making music since 2015, but I've been uploading it to spotify since 2018, on 2020 I've decided that I'm also gonna upload my new music to NG.
